tick

tick

tick is my first comic. it’s a classic tale of boy meets robot-boy told over the course of a year in a vaguely calendarial manner. and as it turns out, calendarial is a real word.

it can be purchased for $6, shipping included, via paypal, or read, albeit lacking some of its calendrical* glory, on this here site (coming soon).

[ *also a real word. ]

‘a thoroughly gorgeous comic about loneliness, the passage of time and attention to detail’
.: whitey, optical sloth :.

‘this amazing high-production values comic done up to evoke the feel of a calendar’
.: anne thalheimer, fleen.com :.

“…the kind of book that makes you sit up and take notice.”
.: garbanzo, stumptown trade review :.

“rubenstein’s sense of composition is bold and daring, with the calendar format both a problem to solve and the solution to the problem all at once.”
.: rob, high-low :.
